Week 3 Notes:

We finally had everyone there before kickoff, well almost everyone, Jack and Albert were late, it was nice having 3 subs, I hope everyone got enough playing time. 

We had trouble penetrating Arlington's defense, but Sullejman open the scoring for the second week in a row, I do not remember, but I think the half ended 1-0. or was it 2-0?.

The second half was a different story, it started with Brian, Tommy's goal was a thing of beauty, great team work, ball went thru at least 6 people with Blass centering the ball, Tovar's heel flick and Tommy finishing with the goalie going the wrong way.

I believe the scoring recap went like this: Brian, Victor and Tovar 2 goals each, Sullejman and Tommy 1 each.

Carlo had another solid game in goal, his first shutout with more to come, Albert was a nice addition, lets see how many games he makes, Mike Blass played pretty well for being hurt, it was also good to see "Nestor" back, he looked fully recovered.

Lets hope the competition gets better, our next opponent is the team that beat us in Baraboo, so we need revenge, we also need a better turnout at the bar after the game.

Game next Friday (May 10) is at 6:30 P.M. (Virginia Lake Field in Palatine) against the Wauconda Chiefs.

Still working on moving the game against the other Palatine team to May 17 in Cary instead of August 9.
