Kocur’s Kozaks 3 Lions 3

Defending champions, Kozaks, started slowly as the Lions took a 2-0 lead, both goals scored by Grant. Ziggy’s one goal two assist effort gave the Kozaks a 3-2 lead, only to have it lost by a last second goal by Grant completing his hat trick and securing a tie for the Lions.

Celtics 5 Green Machine 0

The Machine couldn’t stop rookie CJ (son of Javier) who scored a pair of goals to go along with a pair by Victor as the Celtics cruised to a 5-0 victory.

Celtics 3 Kocur’s Kozaks 0

The Celtics scored early and took a 1-0 lead into the half. The Kozaks pressed often, only to be stopped by Carlo, who has yet to give up a goal. CJ continued his impressive debut, with a goal and an assist.

Lions 4 Green Machine 2

Under 30 restrictions hurt the Machine as they were forced to cut Peter Byskosh. Mario Kolody, acting as an agent helped Lions sign three U-30 players between games, including Byskosh. Byskosh immediately punished the Machine, scoring an early goal. In a see-saw battle featuring 2 machine PKs and a two goal performance by machinist Greg Zaskowski, the Lions prevailed 4-2. League leading scorer, Grant, scored the game winner.
